Universal Careers, a premiere training organization for EMT/paramedics, is preparing for its sixth anniversary in May 2011.

As part of this, the school will be holding a series of “Universal Careers Week” events. UC will host guest speakers, including clients and past graduates, interactive events with EMS personnel and equipment and opportunities for the public to meet with instructors, school officials and students.

“An anniversary is cause to celebrate,” said Rick Hamilton, senior executive of development. “Universal Careers has been growing since 2005 and we want to include as many people as we can in marking the occasion.”... universal careers reviews

“In five years, we have added new training partners, increased our enrollment and instructors and worked to meet the needs of a changing career field. Universal Careers Week will give us the opportunity to showcase our success.”

The organization encompasses a wide variety of training for EMT/paramedics. The program works with professionals and actual medical sites to train students to certify as EMTs. In addition, Universal Careers has expanded to include courses for professionals wishing to update their skills and lay persons interested in learning basic lifesaving and prevention skills.

Universal Careers Week will touch on all of these facets of UC in a fun and casual atmosphere.

Individuals interested in the program at Universal Careers should call (213) 290-4682 or visit the web site at www.universalcareers.org for more information.
